Get ready for a full day of high-energy competition, world-class wine talent, and unforgettable experiences.

On Sunday, January 11, 2026, twelve teams of sommeliers, educators, and wine professionals will go head-to-head across three intense events:

  • Theory Showdown – a Jeopardy-style battle of wine knowledge.

  • Blind Tasting – competitors racing the clock to identify classic and tricky wines from around the world.

  • Service Face-Off – head-to-head challenges testing grace under pressure and hospitality skill.

Events run concurrently throughout the day at the FORTH Hotel in Atlanta, so spectators can choose which competition to watch or move between them for different perspectives. Expect twists, crossover challenges, and plenty of excitement as competitors push their limits.

Between events, enjoy access to food and drinks, opportunities to mingle with fellow wine lovers, and the chance to cheer on your favorite teams. The day culminates in the Award Ceremony, where top teams will be crowned, Gold Medalists recognized, and one standout competitor will win the coveted Star du Spectacle prize.

This is more than a competition. It’s a celebration of wine knowledge, skill, and community.
